2006 Photos

During 2006 the CG36500 participated in many events. Besides weekly hourly trips into Cape Cod Bay, she attended and won "Best in Original Condition" at the Antique and Classic Boat Festival; participated in July 4th activities in Orleans, MA; visited Station Provincetown; assisted in the annual meeting here on Cape Cod on the USLSSHA; and attended the Station Chatham Reunion.



On August 19 and 20, 2006, the CG36500 particpated in the 24th Annual Antique and Classic Boat Festival in Salem, MA. She was recognized with a top award as "Best in Original Condition".











On February 18, 2006, a dedication ceremony took place on the overlook in front of the USCG Station Chatham. On this 54th anniversary of the rescue of 32 seamen from the stricken tanker Pendleton, a monument was unveiled to recognize this historic rescue.
